Beacon of Hope UAE travelled to Marrakech, Morocco to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Summit, COP22, as part of the official delegation of the United Arab Emirates.

Visited the Centre Fiers et Forts orphanage:
Hosted two solar light assembly events with the children in the orphanage. The first event included the active participation of Bertrand Piccard, pilot of the Solar Impulse, and International recording star, Akon. The second light assembly Assembly event saw HE Dr. Thani Ahmed Alzeyoudi, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, join us at the facility, whereby he assisted the children with the assembly of their solar light, and distributed books.
